Welcome to Required Fields for Linear! By using our service, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Required Fields for Linear (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this Service.
2. Service Description
Required Fields for Linear is a service that integrates with Linear to enforce required field validation in your Linear workspace. The Service operates by:
- Connecting to your Linear workspace via OAuth
- Configuring required field rules through our dashboard
- Monitoring Linear issues via webhooks
- Enforcing field requirements by commenting on and managing issues in Linear
Important: We do not store, cache, or retain any data from your Linear workspace on our servers. All data remains in your Linear workspace. We only store configuration data necessary to operate the Service (such as field requirement rules and webhook configurations).
3. Beta Program Disclaimer
Required Fields for Linear may be in beta or early access phase. While we strive to maintain high standards of security, privacy, and product quality, the use of the Service is at your own risk. By using the Service, you acknowledge that beta programs come with inherent risks such as:
- Service interruptions or downtime
- Unexpected behavior or bugs
- Data synchronization issues
- Loss of configuration settings
- Other unforeseen issues
You accept all consequences associated with these risks. We reserve the right to terminate the beta program at any time without notice, including ending free access for both existing and new accounts.
4. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL QUANTOS SRLS, ITS AFFILIATES, AGENTS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL QUANTOS SRLS BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE, LOSS, OR INJURY RESULTING FROM HACKING, TAMPERING, OR OTHER UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS OR USE OF THE SERVICE OR YOUR ACCOUNT OR THE INFORMATION CONTAINED THEREIN.
QUANTOS SRLS ASSUMES NO LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY:
- Errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content
- Personal injury or property damage resulting from your access to or use of our Service
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any personal information stored therein
- Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
- Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the Service by any third party
- Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the Service
- User content or the defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any third party
- Loss of data, including but not limited to Linear issue data, configuration data, or any other data
- Business interruption or loss of revenue resulting from Service downtime or errors
THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY SECTION APPLIES WHETHER THE ALLEGED LIABILITY IS BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER BASIS, EVEN IF QUANTOS SRLS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
5. No Warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will meet your requirements
- The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- The results that may be obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable
- The quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the Service will meet your expectations
- Any errors in the Service will be corrected
No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from Quantos srls or through the Service shall create any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.
6. Data Loss and Backup
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT:
- You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your Linear workspace data
- We do not provide backup services for your Linear data
- We are not responsible for any loss of data in your Linear workspace, whether caused by the Service, Linear's systems, or any other factor
- You should regularly export or backup your Linear workspace data independently
- We are not liable for any data loss, corruption, or unavailability in your Linear workspace
While we take reasonable measures to ensure the Service operates correctly, we cannot guarantee that the Service will always function without errors or that your Linear workspace data will never be affected.
7. Pricing and Payment Terms
Pricing is subject to change at any time and for any reason. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of pricing changes in advance; however, failure to provide notice does not waive our right to adjust pricing.
All payments are processed through Stripe. By using the Service, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy. You are responsible for providing accurate payment information and maintaining valid payment methods.
If payment fails or your subscription is not renewed, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately.
8. Refund Policy
If you're dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may request a full refund by emailing support@quantos.it within 15 days of the start of your subscription. After this period, no refunds will be provided.
If you cancel your subscription, your account will remain active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be issued for the unused period within the billing cycle.
Refunds are provided at our sole discretion and may be denied if we determine that the Service has been used in violation of these Terms.
9. User Responsibilities
You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will not engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Uploading malicious code or viruses
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, computer systems, or networks
- Using the platform for illegal purposes
- Interfering with or disrupting the normal functioning of the Service
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any part of the Service
- Using the Service to violate any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
- Impersonating any person or entity or falsely stating or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity
- Collecting or storing personal data about other users without their express permission
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
10. Linear Integration
By using the Service, you grant us permission to:
- Access your Linear workspace via OAuth tokens that you authorize
- Read issue data from your Linear workspace to enforce field requirements
- Create comments and manage issues in your Linear workspace according to your configured rules
- Receive webhook notifications from Linear about issue changes
You acknowledge that:
- The Service's functionality depends on Linear's API availability and functionality
- Changes to Linear's API may affect the Service's functionality
- We are not responsible for Linear's service availability, API changes, or any issues with Linear's platform
- You must maintain valid Linear API credentials for the Service to function
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary permissions in Linear to allow the Service to operate
Linear Connection Loss: If the customer's Linear connection is lost, we will send an email notification to all organization accounts we have on file. The system will stop working if the connection with Linear is lost. However, if there is an active subscription, billing will continue and invoices will be sent based on the number of users we retrieved before the connection was lost.
11. Data Usage and Privacy
We respect your privacy and handle your data in accordance with applicable laws. By using the Service, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy. For more information, please review our Privacy Policy.
Important: We do not store, cache, or retain any data from your Linear workspace. All Linear workspace data remains in your Linear workspace and is accessed only in real-time as needed to provide the Service.
12. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Required Fields for Linear platform, including but not limited to the software, branding, logos, and designs, are owned exclusively by Quantos srls. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without prior written permission.
You retain all rights to your Linear workspace data and any content you create or manage through the Service.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Quantos srls, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:
- Your use of and access to the Service
- Your violation of any term of these Terms of Service
- Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right
- Any claim that your use of the Service caused damage to a third party
- Any content or data you submit, post, transmit, or otherwise make available through the Service
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
This defense and indemnification obligation will survive these Terms of Service and your use of the Service.
14. Termination of Accounts and Data Retention
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms of Service
- Failure to pay for the Service
- Engaging in prohibited activities or misuse of the platform
- Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- Extended periods of inactivity
- Request by law enforcement or other government agencies
In the event of account termination, no refunds will be provided for any remaining billing period. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@quantos.it or canceling your subscription through the billing portal.
Inactive Subscription and Data Retention:
When your subscription becomes inactive (including but not limited to cancellation, payment failure, or expiration), the following applies:
- Service Functionality: The required fields validation system will immediately stop working. You will no longer be able to create or edit field configurations, and the webhook integration will be disabled.
- Data Retention Period: Your account data (including field configurations, organization settings, and related metadata) will be maintained in our system for a period of 15 days from the date your subscription became inactive.
- Data Deletion: After 15 days from the date your subscription became inactive, all account data will be permanently deleted from our systems. This deletion is irreversible and includes all field configurations, organization settings, and associated metadata.
- Reactivation: If you reactivate your subscription within the 15-day retention period, your account data will be restored and the service will resume normal operation. If you reactivate after the 15-day period, you will need to reconfigure your account from scratch.
Important: You are responsible for exporting or backing up any configuration data you wish to retain before the 15-day retention period expires. We are not responsible for any data loss after the retention period has ended.
15. Changes to Terms
These Terms of Service may be updated or modified at any time and for any reason. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
Continued use of the Service after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend reviewing this page regularly to stay informed of any changes.
If you do not agree to the modified terms, you must stop using the Service and may terminate your account.
16. Use of Client Information
By using Required Fields for Linear, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to display your company name and logo on our website and marketing materials in a "Trusted By" section or similar customer listing, including after termination of your account.
If you wish to opt out, you may request removal by emailing support@quantos.it, and we will remove your information within a reasonable timeframe.
17. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rome, Italy, for any disputes arising out of or related to these terms.
18. Force Majeure
Quantos srls is not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Government actions or regulations
- Labor disputes
- Internet outages or connectivity issues
- Third-party service failures (including Linear's services)
- Cyber attacks or security breaches
- Acts of war or terrorism
- Pandemics or public health emergencies
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Quantos srls regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals, and agreements, whether oral or written, between you and Quantos srls.
